The Goth Challenge! Day 10: Hate/Love

Day 10 – What do you hate and love about the subculture?

I hate intolerance. I just don´t understand how can somebody just hurt someone other just because he looks different. I just don´t understand it, and I never won´t.
I hate it when someone can´t differ between goth and emo (or even goth and scene...)...
I hate that goth is mostly misunderstood in the public, and that many people think, that goths are depressive, satanistic and hate everything and everyone including themselves.
And I hate the poseurs.

I love the music...most of the goth and related genres.
And of course I love the fashion and simply all the aesthetic.
I love the inspiration that goth gives me and I love the kind of "dark" romance that is breathing from it.
And...I just love everything about it. :D

I love cats. They can be so elegant and cute at the same time. But my mother didn´t want to have a cat. And they are too independent for me...I like commanding someone, so a dog is a better choise for me :D

I like giving names to cats, when I spend a while with them, even when I know, that maybe I will never see them again.

So, this one is Yoruichi, the cat that lives in the our city with a pack of few other cats. I think that it´s a female cat, but I´m not sure (they don´t really let anyone even stroke them :D ).

Why Yoruichi? Because somehow she reminds me of Yoruichi from Bleach (I mean in her cat form :D )

A black cat sitting on a Christ Childs head? This definitely made my day :D

News in my closet

Soooo...I have some new things, so I just wanted to share.

Today I bought me a new dress. Beautiful, long black dress with lacing in front and back.

It´s from Scarface Dortmund. I read, that they really have quite expensive goods, but I bought it for just 4 euro. Yey for me :D

And lately I was making me some new accesories:

Now I at least have a spiked collar...or better said - two spiked collars...one is with my little bat.

I bought be a thin belt and changed the rivets for spikes.

I took the bat from an old "choker" I made some time ago, so I had an empty velvet band.

So...it´s not empty anymore :D

It´s not that wrinked when it´s on neck :D

The bracelet was made long ago.

And at least...I made from this spiked bracelet this:

I did need the spikes for the collars :D But I think that this looks even better :)

The Goth Challenge! Days 8 and 9

Day 8 – What's your worst and best experience with non-Goths?

I don´t really have some worst or best experiences. The bad ones are just bad. If someone makes fun of you, calling you an emo, freak or so...Or when someone speaks to you like you´re a whore or something...it always hurt. But try not to mind it. I´m satisfied with myself and thats all what counts.

And about the best one...It´s always nice when a non-goth likes my style. Some of older ladies (for example my grandmother´s friends) did tell me, that I look very nice. Once even a lady in a charity shop..she asked me about my opinion at one skirt that she wanted to buy and told me, that I look really pretty.

I´m a girl on the first place, so I love compliments :D

I once had a white ripped nylons on black pantyhose (winter time :D...and it looked like spider web) and one of my classmates told me, that she really likes it. She´s not into alternative styles, more that type of - always fashionable chick, so it surprised me. And it was nice.

Day 9 – What genre of music do you dislike?

Hmmm...hard to say. I´m not really into hip-hop/rap...there are just a few of them, that I like...Eminem, Fettes Brott...and some songs like All 4 One from Kool Savas & Azad.

I don´t like hip-hop song, that have stupid ...or better said - empty lyrics.

And slovak folksongs (or how to say it...)...nooooo....I can´t hear it :D

But...in many genres I can find at least one band or song that I like, so except the slovak folksong, I don´t REALLY dislike some music genre.
