Attention-whores?

That´s how some people think about goths.
For them, the only intention about what we´re wearing is to get attention.

But what about the option: "because we like the clothes"? Because that´s why most of the goths dress the part!
Other people wear pink miniskirts, blond hair, and other stuff...and why? Because they like it.
So why can´t we wear what we like?

To be honest, I somehow like the attention...when I´m in good mood. It can be fun :D
But that´s not the reason why I dress how I dress and it never was. I feel good and myself in my clothes, it suits me and makes me happy.
When I was younger I really wanted to be rather invisible, but I have got used to the attention. I had to, when I wanted to be what I like.
And still there are times, when I would be happier without all the glare. But I´m not going to change just because that.
I am who I am...and I´m proud of that. :)

Cassovia Halloween 2011

A little bit of Halloween in my home town- Košice (Cassovia is the latin word for Košice..and I like it :D ).

He was the best. And that look on the hand like: " If you don´t let go I will bite your hand off" :D

And me? It wasn´t really a costume. The only thing I wouldn´t wear everyday was the wig (but I loved it :D ), but many gived me compliments...I even got an ice-cream in MCDonald´s for free (I don´t go to MD´s, I was there just searching for one of our group :D )
I wanted something in "vampire princess" style, but I didn´t get fangs :D At least I have red eyes on every photo :D

A gift from a friend. I don´t wear it, just occasionally, but I have to admit...some of the ideas of LaVeys satanism are near to me :)

Heh...this was when I cut my hair of. I had a really long hair and then, one night (yeah..night...:D) I just cut it down :D

I have a great view on Košice from my window. At New Year it´s amazing...All the firework like right on my hand.
And I always can watch the sun going down...and take photos of course :D

Listen with your heart

I love music. There´s not a single day when I´m not listening to lovely tones.
Goth music, punk, metal, rock, j-rock, ambient and so on...I just love it...
Music is with for us so many ages, she changed together with people.
It´s a way of communication, by which you don´t have to know the language to understand it. If you open your heart you can understand it even without words.
But...
The more I listen, the more I wonder...
Many of these modern pop, dance and other mainstream songs are somehow...empty...
I mostly feel nothing when I listen to them and even the lyrics...
Many of the lyrics (and even video clips) are even abusive (mostly to women)...I really hate that...
It´s so sad, that today such a beautiful art like music turned to just a business...
That´s why I don´t like so many of mainstream music...It´s not art anymore...
