Photos - City

So, welcome to Košice ( or Cassovia in Latin). It´s a small city in a small country - Slovakia.
I love it here and hate it at the same time.
Košice are nice. We really have some very nice places here. But slowly the green land is disapearing and covered in beton.
And our worst problem are gypsies. I´m not getting racistic here, because I know some gypsies, that are great friends and so..But our Lunik IX is a just a big dump and there are more and more gypsies everywhere. And it´s right to be scared: they smell, they are loud, and they attack and rob people even on a bright day. And nobody is doing something with it, because everyone is scared being called a racist. But something needs to be done! It´s just horrible. And look what they done to the most beautiful habitation in Košice [link] [link] [link] [link]
What I hate the most is the fact, that they have everything. When they destroyed their houses, they became new. When we destroy something, we have to pay.
When someone attacks a gypsy...it´s racistic...when gypsy attacks someone...nothing happens...
there was a one case that stayd in my mind...Couple of gypsy kids attacked an old lady. When the policeman came and wanted to hold one of them, they kicked him as well. And he slaped one of the kids. And that´s why he is a racist and got big problems? And what about the kids attacking him and an old lady? Is that nothing?

But...I don´t want to get mad here..so here are some of the nice things in our little city.
(and you will see..I have a lantern fetish :D )

Jacobs Palace

I was in Wien two times with school. It´s such a beautiful city. i want to go there again :)

I want to live here :D So amazing :D

My bag

This is my bag which I almost always take with me.
It has almost everything I like: chains, studs, a star (I love night sky :) ), cross, the logo of our goth forum and three buttons with the logo again, and with batcave and deathrock.

Sophie

Hard to believe that four years are gone, from that incident.
In Slovakia, this wasn´t even mentioned...

I think, this is something, that many of goths will never forget.

I don´t like people, who can do nothing, just judge people by their appereance. And I hate people, who are able to hurt other person, just because something like that.

Rest in Piece Sophie.

I hope, that something that horrible is never, NEVER going to happen again.

I was thinking...
It´s called beastly or bestial, when you do something bad, but tell me...why? Animals don´t hurt other animals without a reason (just for food or protecting territory, cubs...).
Just people do. The whole human history is filled with killing. People are the most brutal animals...and they even think, they are something better, because they can think...
Yeah...people have better brain, but most of them don´t know how to use it.

So why is human a synonym for caring? And bestial a synonym for brutal?

Stamp Out Prejudice Hatred and Intolerance Everywhere

The Goth Challenge! Day 4 - Clichés and Stereotypes?

Name a stereotype or cliche you can relate to.

Clichés and Stereotypes?
I don´t thinks there´s something wrong with them, if you really like them (and not doing them just because they´re "soooo goth")

* Cemeteries...I love them. It´s a nice quiet place, where the only who´s going to disturb you is an old lady or a ghost. I used to go to our Rozalia cemetery, when I wanted to be alone.

* Vampires...I don´t think, that I´m one (but i wouldn´t mind to be :D But then..how the hell whould I aply make-up and take photos? :D ), but I love books, movies and mangas about vampires (but I don´t like Twilight....sparkling vampires are not really what I consider A vampire)

* No sports...I always used to make up excuses so I didn´t have to participate on P.E. lessons. And I didn´t even have to in the last two years of high school, because I had an excuse from doctor :D
I actually like to move, but just alone. I don´t like group sports and I hate to exercise when I´m not in a right mood.  :D

* "Dark" poetry and stories...I love reading, especially Poe, Baudelaire, Hawthorne, Lovecraft and so...And I too used to write some poems...usually when I was in a bad mood, so they are really depressing...and most of my short stories too. I wrote maybe just 3 with a happy ending :D

* Black...I love black. I mostly dress in black and I think, that it looks good on me.
I used to wear only black at the begining but now I sometimes combine with other colors, mostly with red or gray.
I wanted to have black walls (and I was jealous of my cousin...she had black walls in her room :D ), but we have just a little space there and black or another color would make the whole room opticaly even smaller .

* Skulls...Maybe bit kitschy, but I like skulls.
I latelly bought two pairs of knee-socks with skulls, I have a winged skull pendant, and two little sculptures of skulls, one with a snake  crawling out of it´s eye hole. They are only from gypsum, but I like them.

* Bats...I love them. I want to have a bat pet :D I used to go outside and watch them. I have a collar with a bat pendant and a plush bat named Zero (yeah, I´m a Vampire Knight fan :D ) [link] (I found him in a charity shop. I just added him a collar :D )

So, here´s the rest... :D
These are the oldest one...I started to sign my photos as Chloë Noir so around begining of the year 2010.

What to say...

Somehow...I don´t feel well today. My arms and back hurts (carring heavy things yesterday and not sleeping well in night), but I somehow feel sad, too.
It started yesterday, when one of my fellow blog friends was called "worse case than a poseur",  under her article with some advices for babybats.
He wrote something like:
" What sence it has moralising people like kids in kinder garden? When people who really live with this subculture would just catch their heads" and that she just go and like a REAL life.
I don´t think that there´s anything bad with blogging about goth and giving some advice. I´m doing it too...
Yeah...I don´t go to goth events, I never saw any of my favourite bands live, and I hardly personaly know other goths. Does that make me less goth? Not that I didn´t want to. I just don´t have the opportunity and the money for that now.
That I can´t speak about atmosphere of some song, because I never heard it live? Why? For me, even through it´s a crappy quality mp3, I still can feel some atmoshpere...
That I can´t speak about how goths are great people, when I don´t know anyone personaly?
Yeah, I know that some people on internet can be in reality different. But I know many people, whose I met after writing with them, and there weren´t different. Why should it by goths be different?

I just...
Ok, it´s their opinion. Nevermind. But I hate it, when someone is picking on my friends.

The Goth Challenge! Day 3 - Goming out from the Goth Closet?

When did you come out the Goth closet?

I started to dress in black at age around 16. I was slowly daring to add more and more.
But things like black "lipstick", spiderwebs or tear drops around eyes were just for the photos (I wouldn´t dare...even now..I think, that something like that should be used for events or photos...especially, when you can´t draw it nice :D ).
I really tried to keep it down at the beginning, because I was somehow unsure, how would my friends and classmates react (I was an outsider who finally found some friends, I didn´t want to loose them so soon. But...they showed themselves as real friends, and even made me compliments :D ).
At first I didn´t really considered myself goth, and when somone asked: "Are you a goth?" I said: " Ehm...something like that." :D

My mother thought at first that I was emo,  and didn´t listen to my: "I´m not an emo!", but I never told her, that I´m a goth (somehow she believes in everything what´s on internet...so...)
She understood that I´m a goth thanks to Abby from NCIS :D (" Oh, so you´re something like her :D ") just maybe a year ago :D
She´s still not very fond of my style, commenting some of my outfits like: "from a circus" and so, and I know that she hopes I will grow up from it :D
But now she´s the one who buys me black eye shadows and black nail polish, or even some clothes (but mostly I buy my clothes myself). And she was the one who sew me my dress for the baal at the last year at school (don´t know how it´s called in english, but I hope you know what I mean :D ).
We are a strange family, so she got used to it :D
Ehm..they were not so creased, and I had another hairstyle and sadly I didn´t have the gloves...
Some months ago, she was angry, how can I go to school dressed like that (I had just black skirt, black nylons. T-shirt and accesories like studded belt and wristlet, and some other wristlets and so...It was one of my most basic outfits, without fishnet, without gloves, even withoud studded collar. So i don´t know what got in her...Maybe she was just angry, because she was wrong and I don´t look like I was growing out from this "phase".
But she´s ok, again.

My granny was saying things like: "I heard, that people who wear all black have a black soul" or asking if I´m a part of some sect at the begining. And sometimes asking, why I can´t dress like anyone else (gosh..why should I when I don´t have to? :D ).
But I´m still her favourite grandchild :D

Hmmm...no one (whom I like ) had really a problem with me becoming goth as I think about it.
And I was not a gray mouse anymore.
